That wasn't designed for working with 1S then.

I am using 2S on my 7E and 3S on my 10. I don't have a 12 to worry about at this moment.

The easiest way is to add an power converter to step it up in front or simply bypassing if the LDO on the 12 is good enough. Or else as I said, we may have to get the VCC down to 3V, i.e. replacing the 1117 onboard. 3.3V from 1S is simply too tight.

The 1117 datasheet I have shows dropout is still around 1V at Iout of 100mA. Some crazy protocol like KN will be taking more than that. If you stick to 1117-3.0, you probably have to double/triple it up to reduced the shared Iout below 100mA.

Hi everyone, just reporting back in here regarding my 3in1 module that I installed in my Devo 7e.
I've been experiencing problems controlling my Eachine e010 when transmit power is set above 1mw.

I just added a 3.3v voltage regulator following this post by robpur and it is working but the problems with controlling the Eachine e010 have not gone away.

So, I guess Goebish is correct in suspecting that the 3in1 module doesn't contain a genuine NRF24l01 chip set. It's definitely very disappointing.

7105 = TMS pad (A13)
2500 = TCK pad (A14)
2401 = ????

Too many hobbies & too many Devos!
Who knows where the time goes?

It looks like there is not any unused pads for Devo F12E, so look at Devo 8s connections:

Cyberhornet, I can't help you with finding an extra pad on F12E, but could you do me a favor?

On one of the pictures where the CYRF6936 module is placed, there is a set of labels for the signals.
They correspond to the pins on the module. The labels are: 5V, IRQ, RESET, NC, SS, SCK, MISO, MOSI, GND.

This is new for Devos - they usually lack IRQ contact. Can you trace the IRQ line to its corresponding pin on the module and tell me what is it? I'm making the plug-in solution which would not require the soldering for Devos with this kind of module, but I needed to connect one of the unconnected pins of the older versions. Maybe I picked a wrong pin and my solution will fail for F12E. I'd like to avoid it, naturally.

If the information listed here is correct then GPIO B6 and B7 are unused. However you might need to solder directly on the processor if the GPIO's have not been extended to solder pads on the board.

Sorry you are talking about F12E not 12E. I am unsure if the above applies or not.

GPIO B3 is also unused and you can solder third wire (2401) the same way as for Devo8, to MCU pin 89.

I do not know where pin 89 is on the MCU And what should be written in the .ini file ? ^^ Same as Devo 8 ?

On the wiki page there is a link to the MCU datasheet. I capture the pinout below for your convenience:


If you connect NRF24L01 to PB3 (pin89) then put B3 in the ini file:
enable-nrf24l01 = B3
has_pa-nrf24l01 = 1
