CX-Blue A doesn't seem to be affected as my CX-33S flys equally well with both DEVOs (one with 3in1 and the other with NRF+A7105). CX-10 is ok too, and i tryed my V222 and it flyes well without lag. I don't know if range is affected, but at the usual ranges i fly there isn't any problem yet.

All the CX-30 boards i have lag and deleting the fixed id only partially seems to improove the situation, if at all. I don't see any special option to dissable something in the protocol settings of my tx.

All others i tryed (CX-10A, E010, JJRC1000, H20 and a couple more), fly ok.

Lets hope that in a new nightly build there will be an option to at least solve the lag problem.

According to the code, cx10 protocol does not use AA. However it does use receive mode on binding. Hence if your 3 in 1 does not have the correct LNA control for nRF24L01, you may have a hard time.

Hi. New to flying, and starting out small and cheap with a JJRC H20 and Hubsan X4 so far. I've got a Devo 7e on the way, and have been following this thread to see if the 3 in 1 works ok with the H20. The 4 in 1 module would probably be best, but despite being able to navigate taobao well enough to create an account, contacting the seller for shipping costs is an issue. Also, a few comments seem to indicate that the 3in1/4in1 modules reduce the range a little. Should I go with the individual modules? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info. It seems that, compared with the original RF module in Devo 8s, 4-in-1 works fine in terms of max output power except for C2500

Everyone of my friends seems to want to have one of these modified txs. Another two DEVO 10 are on their way to here to be modified. I am very much concerned about the rumors of Walkera ending the production of DEVO series of transmitters. It would be a bad thing if it really happened.

For the time beeing the problem again seems to be: "What multimodule to install in those two txs?" 4in1 seems to be a solid solution with good power output, but it still has a problem with the LNA. Further more, unless you know someone that can speak chinese, it is impossible to purchase the 4in1.

As far as i know there was another project going on with another 4in1 module in which project a member of the forum was involved. I haven't heard anything new about that. Is it still developing?

Hi, I want to install a module Multiprotocol TX in my Devo 8s. I want to install this :
www.banggood.com/2_4G-CC2500-A7105-Flysk...tenna-p-1048377.html
I buy it for FRSKY today, now I look to connect he in my DEVO 8S, I need the cabling, or picture of that.

I already have in my DEVO 8S the Module a7105 for Hubsan installed.

I have to find it to connect as pictures, and I have the module A7105 in my 8S, see pictures.

Can't find 1K5 resistor I used 1K2 instead, I did a indoor test , it seems OK so far.

Sorry, I have no information about Banggood, maybe Seby can help to confirm with Banggood.

I contacted TaoBao seller,he told me Banggood will get all modules next week, it should start to sell module one week later.

Finished the installation of my 3 in 1 (was waiting to see if "corrected versions" would come), and was wondering if I should re-open the transmitter to solder a resistor there ? What's the status on that ?

There are already ports to newer Tx's in the nightly builds. I don't think any of them are as cheap the 7E, but the radiolink at9 is still under $100.

I keep getting pulled to other things, but I've at least created a branch for a DIY version....

You don't need to solder a resistor, this problem has been solved!

Yes, much the same as the Devo10. The 3-in-1 module has 12 pins that are labeled on the backside of the module. To install, we connect only 8 of those pins: Gnd, VCC, Miso, Mosi, SCK, CS2401, CS2500, & CS7105. The remaining 4 pins are not connected to anything.

This linked page in the Wiki describes the connections for installing the multi-module in the Devo8, 10 & 12, but is relevant for the 3-in-1 module as well. Pay attention to the photos. The text is only partially useful, since it describes a different module.

You can do the installation by soldering to the connection points or by wire-wrapping to pins, your choice. You would need to solder a pin header in the debug pads to do this.

With the Devo12, there is one issue remaining to be resolved: where to connect the third module. On the Devo10, there exist a couple of pads near the debug pads, described as B6 and B7, which can be successfully used for that purpose, but no one that I know of has mentioned a location on the Devo12 that will serve as well. Maybe someone with more knowledge can help identify a pad that can be used.

At page 7 of this topic there is example how to solder third wire to MCU pin for Devo8 (port B3). I think this is the same case for Devo 12. At least, port (B3) unused for Devo12.

If i understand well the MCU of devo 12S is an STM32F103ZE, somebody can confirm ?
I've found schema of MCU of devo 12s
www.waveshare.net/photo/ic/STM32F103ZE_l.jpg

Normaly, i must solder :
A7105 on TMS should be connected on board to PA13 of MCU pin 105
CC2500 on TCK should be connected on board to PA14 of MCU pin 109
NRF24L01 should be soldered on PB7 of MCU pin 137 OR PB12 OF MCU pin 73

If somebody can confirm or not ?

Thanks

Devo 12s has two easy accessible pads for third wire, A1 and B3, both unused.

I use A1 pad and it works (module 4in1).

[modules]
; there is no need to enable the cyrf6936 module unless
; it is wired to an alternate port. It is Enabled automatically otherwise
; enable-cyrf6936 = B12
; has_pa-cyrf6936 = 1
enable-a7105 = A13
has_pa-a7105 = 1
enable-cc2500 = A14
has_pa-cc2500 = 1
enable-nrf24l01 = A1
has_pa-nrf24l01 = 1
; enable-multimod = A13

P.S. Now I use B3 pad and it works also (module 4in1).
