Confirmed. Red PCB without antenna cable is working for me on my Devo 7E using Blue-A format. :D

CX-10 Blue is already in nightly builds.
For the other protocols, drop a message in the corresponding threads if you've tested them successfully, this may speed up the pull requests ;)

Would some one please kindly do a combined build of testing protocols e.g. Bayang, FY326, MJX, Hontai, CX-10 Blue etc. and upload?
I'm still struggle building my own platform :(
Many thanks!

Thanks for all your work.
I put this one in my Wishlist, seems really fast for a nano (bored with my CX-10).

I didn't buy a Devo 10 yet, I need to be sure to be able to use it with all my actual models and future ones.
Already have a 9XR, so I will have to sell it too, once the devo is working with FrSky D4R-II (using this on my ZMR 250).

Have you tried the CX-10 protocol already ?

Try with "Green" & "Blue-A" formats (click the protocol name in deviation to select protocol options).

Hi,

I have a CX-10 with red PCB, but it doesn't have the wire antenna and is working with XN297.
Is it another new version or is it like blue one (the layout is not exactly the same) ?
No chance to see it working with deviation I guess.

Thanks.

I found a schematic of the XN297 that might help.

It appears to me that pins 2, 3 and 4 correspond to CSN, SCK (clock), and MOSI; these should give you a good capture once you determine a ground pin. I can't tell from the photos where the 1st or 5th pin from the processor is connected, but that the processor's CE and MISO; they might not be needed to get a capture. I'm not entirely sure you've got ground and 3.3 right..the red wire to pin 5 would suggest there is Vcc on that pin? Where does that red wire go?

Here is a good example of what the team did with the CX-10 Green board. The chip pins are the same and you might be able to follow the process there. On that one the MISO wasn't connected, and it looks like just capturing CSN, SCK and MOSI got what was needed.
CX-10 Captures

Edit: found a photo with the red wire connected to the shield, which probably means that pin 5 is ground. So yea, connect 2, 3, 4 and 5 to your analyzer and let 's see the results!

Yeah, a very long list, I know :)

Not a major issue for me to be honest. It was more of an exercise trying to make it work. I can always assign one of the trim switches if I want to have a similar behavior to the stock transmitter. Cheers.

EDIT: With trim switches it works kinda the same way actually. To do a flip a trim button needs to be pushed twice. I'll stick to the FMOD switch then :)

Right now you've to do it manually (as you do), I'll try to replicate stock TX behavior someday, that's on my todo list ;)

Worked like a charm. Thanks!

I have one more question regarding setting up the Channel6. Probably a very easy fix but I can't figure it out. I can make the flips work, no problem. However when I change a switch on Ch6 it only does one flip and I need to change the position to 0 and then back to 1 to make another flip. Is there way to either:
1. Make the quad stay in the flip mode until the switch is put back from 1 to 0.
2. Make it go to the flip mode every time the state of a switch is changed - regardless if going from 0 to 1 or if going from 1 to 0 (not just when changing from 0 to 1).

Thanks goebish.

For some reason I cannot get the 3-way switch to work for me. I am using Expo&DR template and trying to assing fixed curve to each switch value: SW0 = -90, SW1 = 0 and SW2 = 90. As a result I can only switch between one rate and the headless mode. Meaning that going from SW0 to SW1 doesn't do anything and going from SW1 to SW2 switches the headless mode ON. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

chan5 < 0 then flag= 0 (low rate)
chan5 >=0 && <50% then flag = 1 (mid rate, or high rate on cx10a)
chan5 >= 50% then flag = 2 (high rate, or headless on cx10a)
