I see. I suppose that should work perfectly well with a 3-way switch then. How would I configure it? Thanks.

"Rate" is a 3 modes switch on the CX-10A, 3rd mode is headless.

Thanks a lot goebish. I've tried Channel5 before but it looked like it only switched the headless ON/OFF. Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry if that has been answered before but I couldn't find this info. Is there a config file for Cheerson CX10A? If not, do you know what is the channel configuration? Many thanks.

Got the X11 working. Nice. Suspect I've got the wrong version of the CX-10.

Just got my first Devo 7e working with Deviation. Very cool. It works with the JJR1000. But I can't figure out how to get the Syma X11 to auto-bind.

How do you do it? My Cheerson CX-10 doesn't want to bind either. I guess I only know how to do a manual bind.

cx-10 "red board"

Category: Feedback & Questions

hello,
i have a devo 7e and i want to install a module to control a cheerson cx-10.
So i need a "red board" model. I asked to banggood but they replied to me that they
send randomly green or red board.
Do you know where i can get a "red board" cx-10?
Thanks
christophe

Weird lag on controls with 7e and NRF24L01+

Category: General Discussions

Not sure if it's related or not, but i'm experiencing the same issue with my devo 7e, and a bnf JXD 385 that just arrived.
I already use my modded 7e on JJ1000 and CX-10(a) quads, and it works perfectly, but with the JXD 385 i've got a very unpredictable connection. Sometimes it reacts more or less normal (for a few seconds), and then it just doesn't listen for a second >_< (and thus usually crashes into a wall or so).

*edit*
I assume it's an issue with the quad. Holding the 7e really close to it fixes the issue, so it seems to have VERY bad reception >_<

you can (and should) calibrate your devo 7e after uploading the deviation firmware
In the main menu go to:
Main menu -> transmitter menu -> transmitter config -> generic settings: sticks : calibrate

Yep, I agree with you. I don't feel confident knowing something weird is going :(
I will build with 1300 period, only for testing...

@Durete, it should be safe to go as low as 1300, that's what the green CX-10 protocol uses, but this is not a proper solution, it should work with 4100.

@vasiliy_gr, strange, from my understanding, has_pa-nrf24l01 only affects output power for range tests, but maybe I'm wrong. We've no control over the PA on those boards anyway (unlike the A7105-d03), it's always enabled.

Can you please post your dm007 ini file?

Here is my ini for dm007 on 7e with two extra 3x switches. It may have some defects as I am really got mixed up with testing on two devo's four new quads with test builds... But I checked it right now - it is flyable.

SWB for speed rate (low-medium-high), FMODE for flips (you need it ON - flip - OFF - ON again - flip again), HOLD for headless, UP and DN for photo/video (or vice versa - do not remember exactly).

Since the cheerson cx-10 is now supported (and it was one of the reasons i learned about deviationtx), here is a nice icon for it :).

i just modified my devo 7e, and tested this, and it works :D. very well done.
One tip since the cx-10 (and 10a) have 3 modes: the middle mode mode is a bit past halfway towards the third mode on the axis. For my cx-10a i configured it with an offset of 115, and now it switches between high rate mode & headless :). (and for my cx-10 this would mean switching between medium and high rate).
Also love the range i now get with my cx-10 :). I'm testing on the parking lot of my appartment building, and with the stock remote i barely get 5m range (probably a lot of wifi interference), with my devo i haven't noticed any range issues yet XD.

Hi, just learning about TX, Deviation and CX-10 protocols. Was wondering if anybody knows how I might port this Deviation work to be used with Crazy Radio wiki.bitcraze.io/doc:crazyradio:usb:index . Its an nRF24 chipset, so I'm guessing it should be able to connect to any of the CX-10 models. I have two to test. Any idea how to get this to work without the DEVO7 TX? Thanks.
