Quanti CX-10 ci sono ??

Ho acquistato CX10W e come te (come dice in un YouTube) difficile controllarlo col telefonino, ma (come dice stesso YouTube) si può controllarlo con il TX del CX10(A) . Ho acquistato il detto CX10A e il TX lavora bene anche col CX10W.
Leggo che con la modifica/aggiunta al DEVO7E del modulo NRF24L01 era possibile controllare i CX10(xx).
Bene , provo > OK riesco a controllare entrambi..... Molto carini, ma il tempo di volo per il "MIO" CX10W risulta difficilmente superiore ai 2 minuti ! Come si sa la batteria non è sostituibile così ho pensato di prendere un secondo CX10W (forse durava di più il volo).....
Sorpresa ! Vola solo col telefonino ! Non accetta il TX del CX10A (come il suo gemello) e neanche il DEVO7E pure con differente protocollo (usavo il Blu-A, ma non va neanche col Green)
Non so cosa pensare !!??

There are 3 versions of this quad. The latest (seems to be) Panchip version doesn't use the CX-10 (green) protocol. Goebish did work very hard to get this deviated. Near the end of the protocol list there's a new entry, GW008. If it doesn't work you have the LT8910 version. It isn't deviated, and there are no plans to.

Yup, that's the right protocol. I don't have an opentx TX so I can't help with the rest. Haven't been here long enough to know if ppl answer non-deviation questions. I would, but I've no clue!

Volevo chiedere a chiunque di voi possa aiutarmi a connettere il drone col controller, posso anche cambiare il FW se qualcuno mi invia i file giusti.

it's worth noting that the early versions of both 4in1 and 3in1 haven't been available to purchase since around july 2016, there is only 1 manufacturer for these modules so for anyone purchasing now there is only 1 version of each available. also having recently installed a new 3in1 (purchsed mid january driect from the manufacturer on taobao.com) to a club members 7e it does have the nrf and a7105 pa/lna issues corrected. also I was one of the first (if not the first) to fit the new/fixed 4in1's and again the lna works for both, I know this as I have quads that use both (hubsan/a7105 telemetry and cx-10blue/nrf auto ack) read from this post onwards to see when it was discovered working >> www.deviationtx.com/forum/7-development/...-rf-module?start=540 so it's possible you have old stock, the 4in1 is easy to verify as the rfboard has 13 pins on the left side instead of 12, the 3in1 you'll need to manually test

goebish said in an earlier post it should be possible to emulate with CC2500, but it's not anyone's priority. He's only doing this as a personal challenge. Without putting up a capture you'll never know though. planger was interested in taking a look, but no-one posted captures.

Unfortunately the thing that makes this quad great (power!) actually work against it, since tiny quads are generally aimed at beginners/indoor flyers. People usually only add power to lift fpv gear. I now get why the CX-10 is so popular, even though I personally think it's dull.

I installed your model file in my DEVO 10 using the multimodule 4in1 and I have noticed that my Eachine E10 rotates over its vertical axis so it is difficult to fly. Do you know how to fix this? I tried with another E10 and occurs the same.

Have you got an updated/fixed model file for E10?

Another question. If I put RUD DR0 (you said throttle hold), the drone does not do anything. What is the idea of this?

On RUD DR1 is the Throttle Hold.

FMODE0/1/2 is for low/mid/high rates 60/80/100%

3D mode is activated with AILE DR1. After each flip or roll it has to be reactivated (don't know if this is how it should be. Other quads seem to flip continously and others need to reactive).

Lights can be turned off with ELEV DR1. ELEV DR0 turn them back on.

Finally the HeadLess mode is activated with GEAR1.

It is a very simple ini file and of course one can always change the switches to their likings. I don't know if this quad have any more features that i haven't found. But it flys really beautifully and 100 times better than my CX-10A which flys like a dead fish.

Ok, now I understand how it works ... I've to check what's the best way to implement it as we've switches on our transmitters, not temporary push buttons ...

I still need some extra captures for the CX10D as it doesn't use the same flags.

Another Procedure:
a) Turn on CX-10WD
b) Turn on DEVO7E and Set throttle to 0%
c) Automatically go into binding process
d) Set throttle to 100% then Change the HOLD switch's position.

I tested your test build on my DEVO7E today.
My DEVO7E can bind CX-10WD!

But I CX-10WD cannnot take off.

My Channel Mixer Setting is:
5-HOLD: Simple
Src: HOLD1
Curve: Min/Max(or Zero/Max)
Ch6: Simple
Src: FMODE1
Curve: Min/Max(or Zero/Max)

When HOLD switch turn to 1, Some propellers move just a little only once.
Is my Channel Mixer setting wrong?

Oh yes the CX-10WD can bind.

I have uploaded the captures of the CX-10WD here.

Rate button 5 times, change of rate = 1(power up) =>2=>3=>1=>2=>3

There is no button for video or photo, these features are controlled by WiFi.
There is no headless mode or RTH. The 2 sticks are always centred.

And yeah, just say the word re: the rest of the H20/30 mini captures. Haven't done them yet cos I know you got your hands full. I'll prolly put them up sometime soon anyway, just so you got them when it's their turn.

CX-10D... now that is one of the alt. holds i'm looking at for my nieces. More tempting deviated. Good luck.

Also, we've now agreed to add protocols to Deviation even if only 1 tx id / channel hops pair is known, so I'll add CX-10D / CX-10WD / CX-35 / CX-20 and H20H soon.

I wonder if there is a code for trimming front/back, since that button does take-off/landing on the CX-10D.

The controls from the camera-module are sent to the flight-controller via the yellow cable, right?
Have you checked what gets sent with a logic analyzer? Would be interesting to know if it uses some known protocol or something special.

I've manager to reverse engineer the basic protocol (Handshake, Heartbeat, Controls, Video).
Right now I'm able to control the CX10-WD through an XBox Controller and playing the preview and save a copy of the streaming locally.
I've done it in Java. I'll publish it on github once I have completed the first version.

After closing down the remote again, I took some time to fly the CX-10D…
I must say that it isn't half bad at all!
The auto-height feature is somewhat not super-fine in terms of navigation, but kinda steady.
Auto-take-off is fun, the manual version is not always successful, especially when the battery is going low.
Auto-landing seems to be "going a bit down, checking gyro if there was a surface, doing it some more times to be sure, then turn off motors"
Crashing this thing is kinda different to other copters, it seems to detect crashes / blocking motors fast and then turns off all motors. Of cause that is needed, because there is no manual throttle, you always just tell it "up" or "down".

The 3 rate-settings are quite good, 1 is nice and slow, 3 is quick plus fast, yet precise spinning.

I modded the 10D in that I cut out the front & back of the battery-compartment, desoldered the stock-battery and added a cable with socket, so that I can switch out batteries with my other 150mA models.
Problem is that there is no forward / backward trim (those are start/land), so you have to balance the battery out.

I wonder how precise it will fly once it's deviated…

From what I gathered from mostly pictures in shops, those WIFI cams are basically autonomous and the instructions they receive via WIFI are sent to the board with a third wire (1+2 are power and GND).
I am waiting for a FQ777-951C module (cheapest one I could find) - I expect it to work with the iPhone just with power attached - while spitting out remote-commands on that one wire.

Utilizing the WIFI itself for your own app might be quite complex though. I would suspect some pretty obscure china-MCU plus unknown IP locked into this. After all it is live streaming video in under 5g weight and under $5 cost…
Of cause someone with WIFI sniffing skills might get something out of it - encryptions shouldn't bet that hard - or even existent - from what we know about other china-products.

I just received my CX-10D (no cam, just baro).
I also own a logic analyzer and know how to use it.
Does it make sense to make some captures?
