Emu crashes when switching to standard mode was created by holywest
I tried it with emu v 3.0 and with the nightly build from april 8th.

I loaded the emu and the filesystem and did no changes.

When I switch to standard mode, the programm quits unassigned. There are two ways to crash the emu:

- Loading the template "heli_std.ini"
- changing mixer GUI in Model setup

I´ve not tried to do this with my radio. Because of this falut, I prefer to use V 2.1.1 at my radio.

The errors.txt ist empty.

Strange, because my emulator doesn't crash if I switch to the standard GUI...

Hi FDR,

Tanks for your response. Max be it's Not a general problem. But I' like to solve it.

The emu runs on a system with Win XP latest SP. The 2.1,1. emu ist installed too and it runs w/o any problems.
So I can see 3 enviroments that can be reasonable:

Win XP
Parallel installation of 2.1.1
Maybe the 3.0 uses the wrong dll?

Any ideas?

I get the same result, deviation-emu_devo8-v3.0.0.exe crashed with template heli_std.ini and changing mixer GUI to Standard mode.

But, with source code compiled version, emu_devo8.exe works fine.

I have confirmed I don't get any crashes on the emu_devo8, build from the latest code in PB's repo, when loading heli_std.ini or changing mixer GUI to Standard mode or back.

Forgot to mention, that my emulator (emu_devo8.exe) is a built one from the latest source...

EDIT: the released devo8 emulator indeed crashes...

It's the same as latest night build. But emu from night build crashes.

Compiled emu_devo8.exe with libraries.

This is not good, is there a way we can update the formal release and nightly builds to our local builds without PB? He mentioned he won't have much time for a few weeks.

We can place compiled emulators v3.0 (with libraries) at 'Builds' section. All needed libraries can be found in 'emu_devo8.ZIP'.

This emu does not crash. Thanks a lot B) B)

But what´s the difference to the latest nightly build?

sorry everyone. I hope I'll be more available starting very soon now.
I will check my build system and see if I can identify the cause. The builds are fully automated, and are different than my development environment. I don't see the crash in my development environment. There is no change between the posted exe and the official one (other than one crashes and the other does not)

Devo 10 (+7e) owner. It's mine, please don't touch it with your big fingers :angry:
