Hello Guys,
First, i do not know if this issue is discussed/solved anywhere else. So if any one sees this and knows the post/thread that deals with the same issue, please post the link. And i am sorry in that case.

Here is my problem: :(
I am using a OrangeRX 4CH micro RX along with Devo7E (Deviation 3.0.0).
TX configuration is on MODE1.
It seems the ELEV and THRO channels have got reversed!(as if i were using a MODE2 or MODE3 TX)

The channel that is marked with ELEV on the RX is responding to the throttle stick movement. The channel marked with THRO on the RX is responding to the elevator stick movement!!

After initial investigation i believe something to be wrong with the TX, and DSM2 protocol since, and the clues to getting to a solution would be:
1. On boot it is checking for a safe value on CH1 (elevator channel). This problem does not exist in DEVO protocol, it checks safe value for CH3.
2. The throttle percentage display on the main screen seems to be proper. responding to the throttle stick (right stick in MODE1)
3. The RX works perfectly fine with the DX6i that i have.

Am I missing something here? Is there a channel mapping or something?

Regards,
Sourav

After switching to protocol with different channels mapping you need to remap first 4 channels manually at Mixer page (change first 4 channels mixers to proper source) or load any template (it will remap channels automatically).

DSM2(X) protocol has different channels mapping (from default Walkera protocol):

Walkera
1 - Elevator
2 - Aileron
3 - Throttle
4 - Rudder

JR (Spektrum)
1 - Throttle
2 - Aileron
3 - Elevator
4 - Rudder

Futaba (Hitec)
1 - Aileron
2 - Elevator
3 - Throttle
4 - Rudder
