Devo protocol FixedID question was created by dr.wagen
I have Devo7 and several Devo receivers. They bind with FixedID (for example 11911) .
I entered same ID into Devo10 with Deviation, but receivers not connect.
Is it possible have same ID on both TX?

And one more note - I can't set FixedID in Deviation with leading zero.

Fixed ID will only work with the transmitter you used when setting the fixed ID. It will not work with other transmitters, even if you use the same number. Every transmitter has its own ID number witch is also a part of the binding with fixed ID.

Interesting question, I was also wondering about that, 6 digits for binding is not really very much, so it could be, that you are unlucky,and some one use same code.

But as i understand still not possible tocontrol the model.

How many total combinations, or Bind-ID's + transmitter-ID are there? Or whats the chance someone controls your model?

While what TomPeer said was right, i.e. the binding data consists of the fixed (or automatic) id and the id of the transmitter chip, in deviation you can simulate an other tx id, so if you have two transmitters, you can setup both to use the same tx id. This way you can bind a model to both transmitters, and you can control it with either one.

Hovever there is no simple way to know, what tx id your devo 7 uses, to set it up for your devo 10...

Sounds optimistic.
I don't know is my case so interesting for all, but now I using both TX.
Study Deviation on Devo 10 and fly on Devo 7 :)

Any way FDR thanks for great firmware!

Yes,
I have 4 devo transmitters, and indeed use deviation to give them all the same id number.
I did not mention that because dr. wagon has a devo 7, with witch deviation can not be used,
But indeed FDR is absolutely right with deviation you can use a fixed ID with more transmitters.

Edit your hardware ini.

This is mine. Change the number after txid=

;Only useful for transmitters with an after-market vibration motor
;enable-haptic=1
;
;switch_types: 3x2, 3x1, 2x2
;extra-switches=
;
txid = 86668963
[modules]
; there is no need to enable the cyrf6936 module unless
; it is wired to an alternate port. It is Enabled automatically otherwise
; enable-cyrf6936 = B12
; has_pa-cyrf6936 = 1
enable-a7105 = A13
has_pa-a7105 = 1
; enable-cc2500 = A14
; has_pa-cc2500 = 1
enable-nrf24l01 = A14
has_pa-nrf24l01 = 1
; enable-multimod = A13

Give each tx the same number.
