Spirit System FBL supports Jeti EX-Bus

Spartan Vortex FBL <-> Jeti real-time integration is supported based on Jeti EX-Bus.
So Vortex FBL menus have been added to Jeti transmitters.

Looks interesting to be able to configure Heli FBL systems within a transmitter with menus and real-time tuning?!?

Thomas

New BD3SX FBL unit (coming ~September according to HeliFreak Bavaria Demon representative) will support Jeti integration as well as real-time FBL parameter tuning (head, horizont, tail) on free channels.

Thomas, it seems you're the most knowledgeable person here with regards to this system. I checked it out - it looks like a "professional" one.
And the price is exorbitantly high - it seems they decided to out-Futaba Futaba itself.

Are you willing to open yours and see what's inside? Solder to it if it's accessible and capture the SPI traces? There is no information about what chip they use and the modules are covered by RF shield.

Apparently Jeti uploaded some information about their protocol onto their site.
Actually looks helpful for once :P
Someone who knows his stuff should have a look at it :)

Any manufactures info about protocol related to telemetry protocol (second layer protocol), but not 2.4GHz protocol.

I checked these documents, as vlad_vy said they describe their bus and telemetry protocols. Interesting, but no cigar.

I CAN NOT confirm but I've been told on rcgroups that jeti uses the CC2500.

Again I AM NOT confirming this but I'm 100% sure that's what I've been told by owners who have taken it apart.

Some quotes I found, from different posts, in the RC groups jeti thread:

Jeti uses 802.15.4 networking protocol. RF Chipset used both Atmel and Chipcon.
Not sure what chipset used in the TX but the old R5 I have stripped on the bench uses the Atmel 86RF230.
www.atmel.com/Images/doc5131.pdf
My TX also has a pair of 86RF230's as well. It was an early model. Pre-ordered about two years in advance
Newer ones use the AT86RF231 chip, but they're pretty much functionally equivalent.
