Devo 7e Clone? was created by belowtheradar
Anyone noticed the display on this remote control?

Dynam Detrum GAVIN-6C

File Attachment:

This looks pretty familiar. Also the specs of this transmitter remind me of a Devo 7e running deviationtx.

What do you think?

I was thinking the same when I saw it yesterday.. that screen looks very much like Deviation. I wonder if they just slapped together a basic STM-based board with a CYRF module.
If it didn't look like a toy transmitter (gray plastic, really?), I'd almost be tempted to get one to have a look inside.

It is a pity that the chinese manufacturars are not active on the forum.
Only Chiniese manufacturar who really listens and cooperates to open source, not only copies and clones, seems to be Frsky who developed Tarinis toghether with the community of open Tx and it became a great succes.

If these guys would have been in touch possibly we could have give them feedback and plans for the future deviation transmitter. As I see this Tx, just by the looks , I would stick to a devo, not my cup of tea..........

Deviation could also become massive if there would be a manufacturar bringing the "Future deviation Tx" on the market reasonably priced and design based on feedback from the forum and basically from its future customers.

It looks more like a clone of Devo 10, not 7E. Interesting, what's inside.

This looks like a Spektrum (DX6i?) to me.

I also think it looks more like a Spectrum TX than a 7e. Apparently, it's full sized. But all aircraft txs tend to fall onto a couple of design spaces, so it looking like a couple of different models is no surprise. Ditto for the screen display.

If it's really Deviation, they are obligated to make the source available, otherwise, distributing or is a copyright violation. But why would they limit it to 6 channels in this case?

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

I visit their TaoBao official site :
dynamrc.taobao.com/shop/view_shop.htm?sp...tracelog=wdpda_jrdp&

The sales told me it's DSM2/DSMX transmitter , I think it likes clone DX6i / STORMRC i6S / Orange T6 .......... but they changed UI.
