TX chip from broken tx was created by Josegonzalez1985
Well I was trying to see if the tx board in my udi tx was one I could use in my devo and I guess I wasent careful enough cuz I snapped the solder pads right off the main board but the tx module is in perfect condition, does anyone know if a ABE-2.4GPA-3A marked chip is any use to me in my devo 10

It sure looks like it's in the NRF24L01 family (but which one?) and it looks to me like it has a power amp. The connections are labeled the same as the deviation-supported transmitter modules. If you're up to it, you can wire it up and see if any of the protocols work.

Deviation Devo7e 3way switch mod, A7105, NRF24L01
Devo6s 2x2 switch mod, trim mod, haptic, multimodule, A7105, NRF24L01, CC2500
Devo12e 4-in-1 with voice mod -- it speaks!!

It was from a u818a wifi, if I can't get a transmitter for it I'm gonna cannibalize it for a micro build, but I can see the rx chip soldered to the board I wonder if I could make it use a different rx

I don't have anything that could fly using that set ofor protocols, unless you mean see if one of the protocols could run the udi

Can you read the writing on the black square QFN chip for us? The "ABE-2.4GPA-3A" silk screen print in is the name of the module (and means nothing except to ID that module to the maker), not the chip it's self that we need...

That chip is a power amp, and it is often used with the NRF24L01 chip. But with the number of similar and fake clone modules there isn't any way to tell if this is really any particular one, and most don't exactly perform the same. So it may work just fine, or the distance may be limited, or you may see dropouts.

If you're flying cheap small quads, then it's probably ok, but I wouldn't use it for anything powerful enough to get away and do damage.

Could you show me on my original photos what chip you want me to read, I would like to learn all I can about this as I can, and one of the biggest things to learn is how to properly identify. Any knowledge on the subjects of these modules and how to do what with them is much appreciated

the udi u818a uses a beken 2421 rf chip, it's mostly nrf24 compatible but I don't think it's 100%

Beken is supported by the current protocol set - people usually copy intialization from some other protocol, so it propagated over the protocol set.

The Walkera Devo 7 is NOT the same as a Devo 7e. The Devo 7 cannot run Deviation.

Yeah I found that out when I got home, guess I should have read up before getting my hopes up. I bought a kit off someone so it's not a total loss but damn why won't they make deviation for it. They say they won't because e it doesn't support usb but you can upgrade firmware using the up02 dongle so I don't see why they can't at least make it use multi protocols mode
