Problems with DevoDfuSe ver. 1.5 with Win7 x64 was created by kosem
Hi team!
I can't display the DevoDfuSe window.
Everything is installed correctly, the driver is recognized but I can't launch the application. It won't be displayed but rather be "hidden" in the background. When I launch the app I see Windows undocked taskbar "moving" like when a new icon goes there and...nothing.
- STM32DFU recognizes the driver
- I've tried to run the app in compatibility mode (WinXP) and with Admin rights.
- The program won't run regardless if the device (DEVO 6S) is connected or not.
On my wife's Vista laptop it works flawless.
Any help would be very appreciated!
Thanks

Hi.
I'have the same problem. On my 1st PC (win 7 64b), dfuse won't launch. But on another pc (same win 7 64b) it's rock!
Maybe a software conflict.
Try another pc.

Hi I have the same exact issue. It seems that there is no fix. I resorted to using an older Windows XP computer and I was able to get it work on that PC. Good Luck.

Hello,
I had the same problem with Dfuse 1.5 from Walkera.com.
But I came across Dfuse 1.4 and now it works fine.
www.derspielstein.com/shop_content.php/c...ntion-Upgrade-Center
I am sorry, it is a german website, but it contains the 1.4 Dfuse-tool:
www.derspielstein.com/soft_up/soft_file_1315373997456_en.zip
and quite a collection on firmwares for the Devos

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

Just for the sake of gathering more info. I have Win7 64bit and 1.5 works fine for me. I have Intel 64bit... wonder if any of the problems are on AMD 64bit?
.... Actually, now that I think about it... I may have used the x86 driver when I installed. I'll check the driver version and see what I'm using. Just says 3.0.1.0 I can't see which folder it installed from.

I don't think the driver is part of the issue since I can't start defuse even with the tx unplugged.

I could not get it to run on my Intel based PC, Win7 32bit. Decided (for other reasons) to upgrade(?) to WIN7 64bit. It was one of the first items I installed and it rusn without any issues. I guess that supports the notion that it is a sofware clash.
Come to think about it, its been 3 weeks since I last used it and have since installed all my ussual softwware - better check it is still working!

Some users reported reverting to 1.4 fixed their issue.

I read the posts in the log.
I can't get DevoDfuSe to run on my computer.
I have;
WINDOWS 7 Home Edition
Service pack 1
64 bit OS
Intl i7 CPU
I tried the 1.4 version from the German site, but that doesn't work either.
It downloads Ok, and unzips OK, but when I try to run DevoDfuSe it just hangs up.
Any ideas?

I got the DevoDfuSe tool working in another computer.
This computer has Windows 7, but it's the starter edition.
Also when I download the zip files from the Walkera site I get a notice that says that the zip SW is not free, and that I get a 30 day trial for the SW.

Still no solution for this? Going back to v1.4 wouldn't work for me, since it's too old to support my TX.
