Thanks Alex. I appreciate it.
I'll ask the seller if he may have shipped it with eu firmware.
I'm going to have to find someone with a taranis and bind it to theirs haha. Only thing i can think of right now :)

Hello,

i have my New 7e ready with the cc2500 and the latest FrskyX Test Build Ver. d76
The Bind and Servos are working with the X4rSB ( Last non EU updated by me with the Sport to USB Update Tool)
my last Tip for You, do You have the Channel Number set to 12 bevor Bind ?
if the green LED does Blink fast after Bind then it is ready connected and Channel 3 is Throttle ( to test with Servo )

i hope it helps

I just bound with absolutely no issue to an X4R-SB non-EU. Either you have a bad receiver, or it's not non-EU.

Thanks for all the updates guys. Will ask the seller whether the receiver is non-eu. Will also try and find other frsky stuff to bind to.
I have a feeling that the cc2500 is dead/bad. What do you guys think ?

Hello,
some one had a similar Problem with his CC2500, but it was the other one ( at the list of the wire Info Page ).
The Module was working normal but after some Time it was going bad.
Do you have a other RX or flyer who need the CC2500 ? then you can test the TX Module ( the only difference is the Software Protocol )
I have 2 of the blue CC2500 , 2 X 7105 and all are ok.

May be yours is damaged , changing it is the cheapest way. The next is the USB Dongle from Frsky with updating the Firmware.
If your seller is outside EU then the RX should a non EU Version.
If You need more Info for buying the right Dongle, Firmware Version, Handling for Updating then ask, i try to help !

Thanks for helping everyone.
My x4r just died today :( It doesn't turn on anymore.
I think it might have been a problem with it from day 1 :(
I'm going to get a replacement and report back :)
Edit: I forgot to mention that it did NOT bind to a taranis plus.

It could be a bad module. I experienced the same.
As X series need a very precise crystal to perform manual calibration so I suspected that's the bad module.
Can you try a D8? It use automatic calibration and may work
