The two numbers on the bottom are 00002900000000000000f401 and 313233343536373839303132. The model still functions correctly.

That at least is good. It means one of the voltages is 4.1V. It also means that only half of the expected data is being received. I'll make another build that doesn't update the sreen so often that should help.

Here is a new build that will not constantly refresh the screen. Hopefully it will help. It doesn't really explain any of the other issues folks have reported though.

You will still need the filesystem from the above experimental release.

I used that firmware and it did cure the jerkiness. And now voltage 2 is trying to display something but I can't tell what it is. It looks like it's putting the really long number in, it goes off the edge of the screen.

Here's something a bit more interesting perhaps, the two digits circled in red are what changes with battery voltage, not the ones at the end. The first picture is at 4.2v resting, second is at 3.7v resting. With a full battery, it is 2a resting, but as soon as the motors start running it drops to 29. At the end of the pack it will drop as low as 22, which should be around 3.4v. Also about halfway through the pack the bottom number changed from what it was in the first picture to what it was in the 2nd picture. Hope this helps.

What model is it you are using? You seem to have one voltage (Voltage 2) which is what my Ladybird has, so I already know that position. But you aren't getting anything in the 2nd line (which is where temperature is sent) (the 313233... is the initialization value)

The display issues are at least partially due to not getting the proper fonts. I'm not sure what that is about. they work in the emulator, and I haven't changed the font code since the previous release where they were working.

I am using the ladybird model that was posted in the model config forum. My ladybird was one of the first ones available so it probably has older firmware. It has never displayed temperature.

Just now I tried deleting my language and media folders and copying your newest ones over. And there was no difference in how anything is displayed.

And yes my fonts were working right using 1.1.2, they weren't bold like they are now.

Can you verify the dfu from here:
www.deviationtx.com/forum/5-news-announc...l-build-fab82a525bdb
just install the dfu, keep the filesystem you already have.
that build doesn't have telemetry, but it does use the new font code.

Yes, using that firmware it is back to normal, the same as 1.1.2.

With this firmware bold fonts appears only for models with DEVO protocol. With all others protocol all looks normally. I've made reload after each change of protocol.

Yes vlad is right, if the transmitter is turned on with a model that uses a protocol other than devo, the font appears correctly.

Ok, try this then. I found a buffer overflow in the devo initialization that may explain the font issue.

Yep, fixed the fonts. Although the voltage is still not displaying as a voltage.

And the Ladybird flies perfectly, even with the telemetry screen open. None of that uncontrolled 100% throttle I had before.

Ok, so now I need folks with different configurations to try this out.

Use the filesystem (specifically the media dir) from here:
www.deviationtx.com/forum/5-news-announc...lemetry-7535ce7a8d0a
with this dfu:

flint723 wrote: Also I just noticed that once the transmitter has bound, if you turn off the tx without turning off the ladybird, the ladybird does a slow red flash and will not bind again. The only way to get it to bind again is to turn off both, turn on tx, then turn on ladybird. This was not the case before, you could turn off either one and have it rebind when turned back on without having to reboot both.

I also have such behaviour with telemetry module and Fixed ID.

Also, if I press 'Exit' button at telemetry page, Tx reboot with beep.

Mine does nothing when the Exit button is pressed. But if it is held for 1-2 seconds it goes back to the home screen, which is normal I think.
