H8-3D is what you want, and it seems completed.

I don't have one, nor have I installed the necessarily module. I just provided the available information from the supported models list (link can be found on the left side).

I have ordered one H11D.
How do we control camera and gimbal? I don't see any comments about camera in the nightly build h8_3d_nrf24l01.c.
Thanks.

Those features are not implemented in this protocol yet.
Please provide SPI captures

Oops I can't.
My H11D shipment was bounced back to the seller by the Chinese Customs, never reached me in Canada. The order was cancelled. My Eachine Racer 250 ebay order is also a fake offer, I got my money back today. The only FPV gear I have is the Lidi L6F. That isn't supported by Deviation either.
I can tell the camera on L6F is controlled by pulling the third wire down, around 0.1s for taking picture and 1s for starting video recording. That one has 31 screws to take off before we can reach the RX.
Do you have a link on how to do SPI capture? Do we do it on the TX?
Thanks.

SPI capture guide:
www.deviationtx.com/forum/protocol-devel...95-spi-capture-guide
Yes, it's done on the stock TX.
Regarding the L6F / RC126, I believe it's using a LT8910 chip, we can't emulate it for now, maybe later ...

The RF chip on the Lidi Stock TX is hiding under mask on a small daughter board. I cannot tell what it is without removing the cover up.

I reordered the H11D yesterday. Looks like it is on sale now, saved a few bucks.
Hope it shows up this time. I'll need an logic analyser to do SPI capture. Would this one do the job?

I don't know this analyzer and its software won't output files that we're used to use. I'll send you a PM.

My H11D finally arrived last night. Packing is not good. One face of the paper box collapsed and bottom broken open. There were some debris inside one of the gear box that I had to unscrew the entire case to clean it up. First impression is not too good. Without the camera, it wobbles in hovering indoors. With the camera, it seems lack of power. The H11D with camera is almost the same weight as my L6F but with 2 motors less. Haven't tried flipping it yer.
I have to check if anything broken before opening up the TX to capture. Basic control with my devo 7E works. I''ll try to do capture on camera control (photo, video, camera up and camera down) this weekend. Would we need capturing other buttons, i. e. reset, headless mode, one key return, rate/lights and flip?

I think you only need to capture the features that don't already work with Deviation, ie camera up & down.

Is photo and video start/stop a done deal? I haven't checked the protocol often enough.
We have this:
enum {
CHANNEL1 = 0, // Aileron
CHANNEL2, // Elevator
CHANNEL3, // Throttle
CHANNEL4, // Rudder
CHANNEL5, // LED Light
CHANNEL6, // Flip
CHANNEL7, //
CHANNEL8, //
CHANNEL9, // RTH + Headless (H8 3D), Headless (H20)
CHANNEL10, // 180/360 flip mode (H8 3D), RTH (H20)
};

CHANNEL1 = 0, // Aileron
CHANNEL2, // Elevator
CHANNEL3, // Throttle
CHANNEL4, // Rudder

CHANNEL6, // Flip
CHANNEL7, //
CHANNEL8, //
CHANNEL9, // RTH + Headless (H8 3D), Headless (H20)

You're right, photo & video channels are not implemented yet for this protocol.

I guess we still have flags left, but we may need more logical channels. If we ever expand the channels, it would be nice to give a channel for the 3 rates. Or can we leave them at high and use DR on TX instead.

It has been decided to drop protocol "rates" then use DR instead.

Please default rate to high so that we can use DR starting with a full range.
