Range Mod devo 7e was created by crazyatvn
I was attempting to do the range mod on the devo 7e. I thought all was good bound to a dsm2 quad. So I put it all back together. And I have really poor range like 3-4 meters. So did I fail to short the pins?

So I was going to get a WK-DEVO-S-MOD but I cant find any more.

Don't lose hope ! Show us some pictures and explain the process in detail. We might be able to help you.

There is always a chance of ruining the internal module but hopefully everything works out

If not you can always install this:

It has the cyrf module as well as 4 others for plenty of options.

Yeah tried to fix it and stuff went from bad to worse. I will need to replace the chip.

Is this the proper upgrade?

I would just go 4 in 1 but I just installed the 3 in 1 and it is working great.

Yep, it's the WK-21201 RF, but beside the connector there should be a diamond signif it is the telemetry capable one...
