Walkera +deviation firmware+which simulator?

Is it possible that Deviation 8S latest nightly build doesn't give any PPM output? With Deviation 10 3.0 I don't have any problem with my simulator.

I just tested with my Devo8s and encountered no problem. There is no general issue (i use ClearView).

That is weird. With Devo 10 with Deviation 3.0 I have no problem with my simulator (Phoenix), but with Devo 8S on latest nightly build, Pnoenix recognizes the transmitter but there is no channel activity on all channels.

If you have compiled with the option "dev" (make TARGET=devo8 dev) the trainer port is used as as serial out.

It's not compiled, it's the downloaded version. Gonna try the 3.0 version for the 8S this evening (CET).

I tested it with the actual nightly again - also no problems.

Sorry my mistake. It's working now. I turned on the transmitter connected to the pc and then selected the simulator model. When I turn on the transmitter after connected to the pc with a simulator model already selected all channels are giving output. Thanks for the info fellas, I was able to connect my devo 10 deviation to my pc easy, juSt had to select ppm as the protocol and connected right up
