Setup flaps Bixler 2?

I have a Devo 10 with deviation firmware. I am trying to learn how to setup flaps using the mix switch. I am using a dsm2 6 chan receiver. The flaps are plugged into a y cable. I tryed to program the mix switch but the flaps seem to be moving up instead of down and servo is in down position is eneregized?

Can someone explain how to program switches and knobs?
