Devo 7E with Heli-X simulator.

Hi

New to RC helicopters and just upgraded to the Walkera Super CP + Devo 7E.

This has been huge learning curve as i am used to non-programble remotes and overall easier RC helicopter.

Anyhow,
Currently i am attempting to connect the Devo 7E to a PC for some free practice in a simulator before i break the actual helicopter more.

With the remote came a
*3,5mm mini jack (Both ends are male)
*Micro usb to USB plug

My question is whether i am able use either plug to connect the remote to the PC as a joystick or i am forced to purchase an additional adapter.

I have been looking at different forums for solutions but with no clear answer. I rad out about software "ppjoy" which supposedly allows connection through the sound card but been unable to find an official website/link. (Most forums topic are years old and all links are down)

Any help greatly appreciated

Simply USB > USBHID....(Heli-X3&4)
