Why does DEVO 7E beep at me? was created by ohaya
Hi,
I am using DEVO 7E with 4.0.1 and the Nano QX model, and I notice that after awhile, the 7E starts beeping at me intermittently.
Is this something that is set in the model, and why would it be doing that?
Thanks,
Jim

Could be any one of the configurable alarms. Count down timer, tx battery voltage, etc.

This, I guess. It means after 5:30, it warns you.

I guess that I was wondering what the PURPOSE of that timer (and beeping) would be? Is it to avoid using the battery for too long and running it down too far?

It's mostly for a battery timer, there can also be a stopwatch that you also control via throttle input to count up if you want. That can help you figure what to set the alarm to.
There are also settings to control how long between each set of beeps. Incase you want to make it more annoying.

Hi,
Thanks!
Off-topic, but I've been wondering: Are you the same C_K from BLF?

That's great to see you here
! I wonder if there's anyone else from over there here? I've only gotten interested in quads recently, but now that I have, it seems like there's a lot of overlap in interests
