Devo 10 servo set

I have a Devo 10,with the 4.0.1,I will be changing a few servos,is there a way to change the setting from digital servo to Analog servo?I read somewhere that the wrong signal will damage a servo.

What receiver you're using?
(Usually) servo frequency is not set in transmitter.
