Interesting Transmitter, especially when they drop the price, the new Frsky X-lite is much cheaper...…

and the new Paladin 18 channel AFHDS3 Radio...…(is it opensource?)

These radios are quite expensive, but it's nice to see the trend of multirotor specific radios.
I'm really interested in AFHDS3 protocol, It's supposed to be really fast with latency down to 3ms.
I hope it could be adopted to DeviationTX some day.

Any info on AFDHS 3 ?
I thought it was just a typo at first. AFHDS 2A is pretty fast already, one packet every 3.85ms
If this is a new protocol I hope the i10 can be updated to support it so I can take a look at it ...

They mention "opentx" software, so the question is will there be a AFHDS 3A tx module based system, encoder pxx/ppm,or will openTx address it over SPI.
And are there currently people working on the OpenTx, or will Flysky do this inhouse do their own fork and publish the code when they release they radio?

Probably a pxx module, I doubt they make the source code of the protocol open source.

If it's LORA we won't be able to emulate it :(

Or it can be a nice new challenge to get a Lora SPI module working in deviation.

BTW nobody ever managed to reverse the RadioLink protocol yet ?

Seems an sx1281, see here: www.multirotorguide.com/news/flysky-frm3...3-long-range-system/

This chip seems to be extremely popular nowadays...

Radiolink has 2 protocols, one is based on ieee802.15.4 (zigbee) such a chipset is not part of the multi module, neither deviation nor MPM

The other one (surface and small size/simple air tx) uses cc2500 and is in MPM
