Hello everybody here are some technical feedback now that i upgraded to Deviation.
-When I turn on the radio I get only 1 the picture of 1 helicopter, everything else is black with a blue edge.
-I cannot select anything.
-Once I press any button on the RX the picture of the heli disappears and i cant get it back.
-The touch screen does not respond.
-My upload file is from February 25th
I already tried to do the upload twice and restart it, every time with no error messages.
Im back with the normal walkera software.
Hardware ver 1.0
Software ver 1.4A
Library ver 1.0.8

I may be wrong about this, but I think part of his problem is scaling. At least that is what I discovered. I think Hexperience provided the correct scaling.
A good test for this condition, is to touch the screen about equal distance on the other side of the screen that the heli image is on. But..... keep in mind it's all quite new to me & the 12S.
Hope this helps.

If you cann't call Tx settings screen and calibrate touch screen and sticks, press both 'EXT' and 'ENT'.

Can you tell us something about your plane, esp. which receiver it uses?
In general, you have to choose the correct protocol on the model config page (where you can change name, icon and more), then the number of channels to use and maybe some other protocol options (depending ion the protocol) by touching the protocol button itself. After setting / clearing the fixed id you can press the button at the lower right (labelled bind, rebind or reinit in dependance to the protocol used).
You have to fulfill the needs of the receiver. Some will not bind with throttle > min or other conditions.

Did you read the manual (look at "User Manual" in the left menu)? It should tell you how to bind.
I have some Blade helis (I think UMX is Horizon Hobby too so it uses DSM2/DSMX?) and some Orange RX610 which were bound easily as described in their manuals (bind plug for the RX610, special values for throttle and rudder for the helis - throttle down and rudder right, I believe).

No, wide screen is experimental. rbe2012 has a repository in which he pulls from the official deviation repo, and that has wide screen support, real time clock etc. It will be awhile before PB looks at all the code and then if everything looks good he'll pull those changes into the main repo.

The next coming version will do that. DSM2 is already supported and the 3.0 will support Devo12S.
The nightly builds do support both already.
