I noticed some missing entries from the supported model list...

Make: Top Selling
Model: FY326 Q7
Type: Quadcopter
Protocol: YD717/Skywalker
Notes: (Green Board)

Make: JJRC
Model: H6C
Type: Quadcopter
Protocol: V2x2
Notes: HD Camera

Make: Micro Gear
Model: MX-272
Type: Quadcopter
Protocol: V2x2
Notes: WL Toys V272 Re-brand

Now that I am a DeviationTX fan, I always check the compatibility list when I am thinking about a new quad. So I guess the completeness of the list is helpful to me. Anybody else know of anything missing off of the list?

I've added those three to the database.

There are probably lots of things missing. There are PROTOCOLS missing.

I've also asked people for updates, but did so when asking for help with updating the protocols part of the manual. So I'll repeat that plea again: Please check the online manual (links in the menu to the left) under the protocols section for those you use, and if there's missing or inaccurate information, let us know via posts in the forums or issues in the bug tracker!

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

I can add a couple to the list.

Make: NiHui
Model: U807
Type: Quadcopter
Protocol: FlySky - V6x6
Notes: 720 HD and also VGA Camera, but most sell the HD version

Make: HuiYing
Model: X6058
Type: Quadcopter
Protocol: CX10 - Green
Notes: HD Camera (almost certainly 720)

The JJRC 1000 is listed as 1000A. As far as I know, they are currently selling the 1000 at gearbest, and it is the same as the 1000A as far as Deviation is concerned. I also saw a 1000B listed somewhere else. Is that the same as the 1000? Whatever the case, the application is broader than listed.

Added the U807 & X6058.

Are the U8907 and the WLToys v646 pretty much the same quad?

what about the wltoys v931.
Same specs as the v977.

PS jjrc 1000, 1000a and 1000b is all the same quad. The difference lies in the tx that comes with it. This is of no concern when you using deviation.

Yup, I pointed out that we were missing models & protocols in the request for help with the manual. If you're using a new protocol (anything not listed in the supported models list), then I'd appreciate it if you could check it's entry in the HTML manuals (link in the Main menu) and let me know if it needs fixing.

That it wasn't there hadn't stopped people from using it. I added it. Can you tell me anything else about the KN protocol? Like why it's called "KN"?

Victz made this working so he should correct me if i am wrong here. But as far as i know:
KN stands for Ke Na (Ke Na New Technoligy Corporation). The manufacturer of the BK 2423 chip witch is used.
This protocol is used in several WLtoys models; V930, V931, V966, V977, V988.

This is what i (think, i) know. For more info check topic: New WLToys Protocol V977.

I noticed that in the supported models list there is a note at blade/horizon that the red bull cx does not work.
If the red bull BO-105 is meant, then this is not true.
I fly this helicopter with my devo transmitters . No problem at all.

There are two versions of this helicopter. The older one is the BO-105 CB CX, and the newer is the BO-105 CB 130 X. They are quite different - the CX is a coaxial helicopter which doesn't use the Spektrum protocol, while the newer version is a flybarless 4-blade hell that does use Spektrum.

This is a reply to a post from 2015. The Feilun helis have shown up meanwhile with a different controller board and protocol to the 'KN' versions. They now have a WJ-FX070RX and WJ-FX071RX label and don't bind with the KN protocol anymore. Has anyone looked into this and perhaps is working on adding a new protocol to the lineup? The board uses a XN297LBW chip as a receiver. I have seen this chip mentioned before in transmitters but don't recall it being mentioned as a receiver. So if anybody is out there with knowledge on this please respond.

Cheers.
The old version boards, KN-FX070R and KN-FX071R labels, use the BEKEN BK2423 transceiver chip.

I wonder if the quad manufacturers if contacted, would voluntarily contribute this info. The case can be made that it is in their best interest as it generates RC hobby enthusiasm, involvement, visibility for their brands. If / when they may want to branch out to more advacned or other segments or markets, the individuals who us Devos / Jumpers and dev protocols are often KOLs (key opinion leaders) and thus influential (often decision makers as well)

A form email explaining this with links may be all it takes and maybe access to a forum only mfg access to where this info can be populated (just idea not req'd etc its a change control thing)
