I just finished installing the module in my Devo 10 and it's working great. Pics below.

Screws on the back:

Wires & plugs for the switches and buttons. Need to unplug these as you don't have the space otherwise:

Locate the header you need to solder to. It is found right next to the Devo module. As marked, top is TMS pin, bottom is VDD. I put a bit of solder on the points, tinned my wires and the rest was easy. Plenty of space, didn't needed to dismantle the Devo module.

I unsoldered the v911 module together with the header it was attached to, then bent the pins of the header in order to gain some vertical clearance when mounting:

Then I put some double-sided tape on the Devo module and attached the v911 module after putting some heatshrink around it.

Afterwards, I just routed the v911 antena inside the Devo antena cover, this way it is oriented towards top and held in place:

Well, that's it. Took me around an hour, since I wasn't in a hurry. Easy job.

Hope I helped someone. Have a nice evening folks.

Just installed the A7105 module in my Devo 10 but it doesn't seem to be working with the Hubsan protocol.

When I turn on the transmitter I get an alert popup that is empty and doesn't say anything and I can't bind to my X4. If I change to the FlySky protocol I no longer get the empty alert popup but I don't have any flysky compatible receiver to bind to so I'm not sure if it's working.

Anyone have the Devo 10 working with Hubsan on the latest 2.1.1 firmware?

I now have two gutted WLToys Tx's, and a 2 module modified Devo 10 with nightly Deviation build.
The hardware install wasn't too bad, I made sure to check the shared wiring between the two new modules, the hardest part was dropping just enough solder onto the debug port pads on the Devo 10 PCB. Then soldering the joined wires onto the CYRF module (Next time I would join the shared wires away from the module).

Notes:
I bridged the three pins CE, Vcc & TXEN (as labeled on the module from the v222 Tx) together on the other side of the module PCB, and run one wire to Vdd on the Devo PCB. (possibly not recommended)
I wrapped my modules with electrical tape instead of heatshrink, I ran out of anything big enough.
I tucked my modules under the looms both sides near the top of the devo PCB, and ran both antennas up alongside (but only just in) the CYRF antenna.

Test both the v222 and the v911, and both worked fine first go (with model configs found on this forum). The amount of control around middle stick position was very noticeable.
Ran out of time, but will try the extra functions (camera etc) later tonight.
Here's a pic or two.

All soldered, just about to hide the modules:

All tucked away (in front of the USB connector!):

My V22 is flying great with the devo10, and its so much easier to control than with the basic stock tx !

But so far, I did not had any luck with triggering camera and leds, so I'm quite impatient to see if it works for you !!!
Could you post a link to the model profile you used ?

Just completed this tonight - It's working great! Really enjoying my WLToys 929 again!

For anyone using a A7105 from Ali Express or for anyone having range problems see this thread:

www.deviationtx.com/forum/6-general-disc...-range-problem#11977

On the A7105 you will need to short pin 8 to GND and pin 9 to VCC.

HELIs: V929, MCX2, MSR, Nano CP X
TX: Devo 10 (Deviation 3.0.0)

Hello, nice job but the pictures don't show clearly the connections, and the link for the connections doesn't work, would anybody have pics and names of connectors on original devo 10 module? and connections to V911 module?

Thanks ;)

There is a very detailed page on how to wire up modules into various Devo transmitters somewhere on this site. I couldn't find it now and didn't know it existed when I went through the same thing. Maybe the page is down for updating. If you can't find it, it's probably best to post the question in the FEEDBACK and QUESTIONS thread, now that you know it does exist.

The PDF linked to in the user manual section is outdated. If you follow the links link in the menu on the left, that will take you to the module installation guide, which is both up to date and actively maintained.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

Followed the links on the left, selected RF Module Installation Guide which opened up this page bitbucket.org/PhracturedBlue/deviation/wiki/ModuleInstallation then for the 8e module install at the bottom I get this.
<paste>
Wiki
Clone wiki
Oops, it looks like that file doesn't exist

You can go back Home or create this wiki page.
Create /Devo8ModuleInstall
</paste>
It would be handy if there was a working link to a single place for the instructions and the non relevant material/links removed to avoid confusion.
