WL Toys V959 flip button?

Has anyone figured out how to make the V959 do a flip with the push of a button? The original transmitter has this ability, but I admit I am stumped as to how it actually does it.

I'm pretty sure it uses the same kind of protocol hacks that the video camera controls do. If so, it should be possible to modify the code used to do those to add the flip as yet another channel control, but I don't have the details for it.
