6Ch Plane predefined mixer template was created by kreidler
The mixer system of Deviation has enormous capabilites. Unfortunately every model has to be done from scratch or by editing the model.inis.

My aim is to have a template for planes where any of the most needed mixers are already available and which could be included later on into a release. I just want to collect some additional input from all users around here if something else might be more important to implement. Afterwards I will do a small PDF guide how to use the mixers. I did partly some useful presets already.

Included are
  1. Virt1 (still available)
  2. Differential Left Aileron
  3. Differential Right Aileron
  4. Combi-Switch
  5. Spoileron
  6. Flaperon
  7. THR-Compensation
  8. Spoileron-Flaperon-Compensation
  9. V-Tail Left servo
  10. V-Tail Right servo

Any of these virtual mixers except for the Differentials can be applied with mux-type 'add' on a complex template. Differentials must use 'replace', if needed. Expo or DR can be applied direct on the channel without having the mixing in the template. The mixing has to be adjusted in the virtual channel setup.
Please bear in mind that this template is for an acro model or a (electric) sailplane with two ailerons only.

Any suggestions what to improve?

Please note that flaperon and spoileron will work for Devo10 and Devo12. All others not having pots for AUX4 And AUX5 have to be redefined to a switch or trim.

@unclecrash: Yeah I am still alive. atm is outdoor season and may other projects are waiting for some progress. Manual might be in northern hemisphere winter time. :(

@dat: In general no virtual input is saved with your ini. E.g.:
[virtchan6]
name=Flaperon
template=simple
[mixer]
src=AUX5
dest=Virt6
scalar=-50
offset=50
You have to add the virtual channel 'Flaperon' to your channel definition.
Afterwards you could adjust the servo movement by using AUX5 trim.

But you know what flaperon stands for? Flaps AND aileron. So, as far as Google told me Formosa is a small park flyer with ailerons only. In this case You will be able to shift the center of the ailerons only. Making the ailerons working as flaps. I am wondering if this makes sense to your model?

Hello :) could anyone tell me if this would be a suitable template to use on a Parkzone iX? the plane has no flaps but will have retracts and I would like to set up a dual rate setup.

Help would be appreciated

Well, I'm not kriedler, but I wrote a tutorial on how to create a model config , which is mostly about the mixer. It might help.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.
