Cant' bind mjxq to Devo 7e with NRF24L01 module was created by larrymastel
I am having trouble binding my MJX X600 to my Devo 7e with the NRF24L01 module installed.
I have no trouble binding to my Eachine H8 so I suspect the module is working.
Here is the message that pops up for a second when I turn on the radio and also when I release the <re-init> option when attempting to bind.
Deviation Version: V4.0.1-e9e4b2c
Thanks, Larry

Did you select the proper format ('X600') under protocol options ?
Looking at the code (team repo), the default seems to be WLH08.

Yes, WLH08 appears to be the only option in the protocol mjxq.

Hmm, in case you have only WLH08 On/Off option (I have absolutely no idea what this means
), you might try turning it off or on.
If that does not work, I'd suggest you try one of the nightly builds which should give the option to select 'X600' and such.
Be aware of possible issues with nightlies, though (do not fly - especially larger, powerful models - without testing).

In the current nightly there are four format options for MJXq. The second is X600.

Can't find a matching revision in my repo. What build is that?larrymastel wrote: Deviation Version: V4.0.1-e9e4b2c

I do not know what to do with the emulator in the nightly builds. Can you direct me to the instructions?
(Did not notice the nightly build files mixed in with the emulator files)

I've never used the Windows emulators. Maybe there's something in the manual. It's nothing to do with the radio - you only need the stuff in the devo7e archive. Be sure to install at least the protocol directory after the dfu upgrade. I recommend replacing the entire filesystem since I can't identify the build you're running.
When you get to MJXq protocol options, click R to get to the X600.

After reloading the deviation-devo7e-v4.0.1-265430d nightly build, and selecting X600 in the protocol option, I am still getting the same screen to flash but do not get it to bind.
I am not having a problem binding with the Eachine H8 Mini, however.

Success in binding this morning.
Seems the X600 protocol option was not saving in model setup.
Maybe by holding the <ENT> key a little longer, option saved and X600 is binding.
Thanks for your support.
