The first step is figuring out which RF module it's using. We can do that if you can upload pictures of the chips in either the aircraft or the controller with enough resolution that we can read the markings.

Once you know which chip it is, you can sort the list of supported protocols by module and try the protocols for that module. Some protocol options affect binding, and there's no easy way to tell which so you're liable to have to try those as well.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

We have to be able to actually read the markings on the top two chips in the first picture. Try doing a close up using the macro feature of your camera.

...or simply post the markings of each chip here.

It seems the RF chip is a XN297 when comparing to the datasheet pinout.

The xn297 based protocols we support use the nrf24l01 chip.

You did say you've tried all those. Did you try the protocol option on them as well? I'm pretty sure some of the nrf24l01 protocols won't bind if the options are wrong.

If (or once) you've done that and it hasn't worked, the next step is to get a logic analyzer (they can be had for about $10 from ebay or banggood, though banggood sent me a motorcycle handbreak instead of the logic analyzer I ordered) and software (sigrok is free; check www.sigrok.org for supported hardware) and then capture the signals going to the xn297 as you bind and manipulate the various controls. FWIW, for about $30 you can get a combination logic analyzer/digital oscilloscope that's a lot more useful).

There are some good writeups on the forums, and sebydocky did a video on youtube.

i will try the protocol for the nrf24l01 chip one more time and if no luck i will try what you suggested , but it really sounds complicated , but bind or no bind i will give you update ...

So buy the cheap 8 channel analyzer for $10 or so. But I used it once on a $30 drone (that's where the JoySway protocol came from) and for my next project I needed analog capture so wound up buying the $30 one anyway. That does everything the $10 one does and a lot more, so I wasted that $10.

Let us know when you get your analyzer, and get prepared for some fine soldering ;)

oh soldering is not a problem to me , I think my soldering skill is well above average , using a logic analyzer is the problem but we will see , just need to save up for it
