Throttle hold configuration was created by Freezywilly
This is a dupe. I put the question in the wrong place.
I am new to this project but not new to heli flying.
Something that I use constantly is throttle hold.
The devo 10 transmitter has no dedicated switch for throttle hold so one has to be creative. The mixer subject is complex and I see no easy way to implement throttle hold. Are there any suggested methods for single switch? I come from spektrum transmitters where throttle hold is implemented and easy to use.

Don't know if I did it the preferred way but I got it to work.

In the Mixer page for channel 3 "THR" I set a complex mix with 2 mixers, one for the throttle curve ("Page 1"), 5 point, and one for throttle hold ("Page 2"), which is set to a fixed curve, bound to the RUDD/D-R switch, with a scale of -100, so effectively no throttle. The other settings I left at default. Flip the switch, throttle is zero (-100).

As I only fly aggressive sport I don't have flight modes set up, only an aggressive "normal mode". Seeing as I don't use flight modes I might just bind it to the "FMod" switch so it's like my Dx8, it gets confusing at times.

Muskoka's implementation is perfect, but I have a simpler one for you: on the throttle channel's configuration page there is a safety switch and safety value as well. Set the safety switch to the switch you want to use as throttle hold, for example the RUDD DR, and the safety value to -100.

Yes, much simpler and seems to be the default values, missed this one. Removed my mix from channel 3.

Now, if I could get the telemetry alarm for battery voltage to sound, I would be all set.

In my opinion, the easiest way is to set a safety switch to your throttle channel (Model Config => Mixer=> Select Throttle channel , generally 3-THR)
On the Devo 10 you can set the RUDD DR as the safety switch and then
put a value of -100% to the safe. value

So you can configure your throttle channel with just the EXP&DR mixer template
, using FMODE1 and FMODE2 for flight style.

Sorry for my frenglish

Devo 10 (+7e) owner. It's mine, please don't touch it with your big fingers

Ya, FDR brought this to our attention in the other thread, much simpler.

FDR I used your suggestion but I used the function switch (2) position. This is most like the spektrum in placement. Makes it easier for me to remember. Plus muscle memory is there.
