Question about 130x was created by Parees
For the 130x, to enter the gyro gain programming mode, we need to keep the throttle stick high (at100%) and then plug in the battery into the 130x. Will this work with the Devo Tx with deviation?

I believe Devo Tx (without deviation) has a built in safety feature whereby the Tx will not bind with a heli if the throttle is not zero. So this can potentially prevent the 130x from entering the gyro gain programming mode, unless deviation has somehow bypassed this limitation.

Definitely this will work. I calibrated throttle at mQX (add other UMX models) with the same procedure.

Using a fixed id to bind it first should work. Then unplug the heli battery and plug it back in. ?

I haven't tried it, and to be honest, the last couple of times I've tried to fly my ncpx I've had to rebind it to get it to work.

Let us know how it goes...
Cheers

I've ordered a Devo 8s and it's still on the way. I'll try this once I receive it and let you know how it goes. From your replies it looks like it should work.

Vlad_vy, I was curious where you came across your method of calibrating the throttle for the mqx? I've been googling "mqx throttle calibration" and I only see two posts, both from you :)

This forum and that thread on RCG is the only place you'll find stuff about deViation....

The few, the proud... this is all new ground we're walking on. If you figure out a way to do something, post it here because there is no other source of information.

I don't been confident it's really working for Blade mQX up to case at this topic:

But I always try to do calibrate throttle this way, if I have any problems/inconsistences at throttle channel with my ultra micro models.
