How can I reorder model data? was created by harmony96
Sometime I want to change the order of model data.

But I could not find the way to reorder model data in the manual.

Would you let me know how I can change it?

What I did was to edit their filenames on my PC in a USB mode.

Is there any easy way to reorder it?

Aside of renaming files, you can copy the model configs.
However it's not that easy as reordering either, because to swap two models you have to copy to a dummy slot first to prevent overwriting...

You may use the Load/Copy feature ... Load the one you want to be the last and copy it in a new. Then load the one you want to be the first, copy it to the first, load the one you want to be the second copy it to the second ...
and finally load the copy you've made at first an copy it to the your last model....

At first I also tried to use Load/Copy feature for reordering them. As you know, it requires so many touches to insert one model data in the middle of model data. While I navigated the menu to select Load/Copy, I sometimes touched a resetting button because of my bad finger. :S

Another method is to use template feature.
I also saved all the model data into template directory.
Then, I just copy it to the location that I want to place.
I'm not sure, but I needed to check the protocol (????).
But it significantly reduces my mis-touching mistake.
Also, although I reset a model data due to the mistake, I have a backup.. no problem.
However, I still prefer to reorder them on the PC if the firmware does not support reorder feature. B)
