I open the dfuse tool but it will not recogonize my transmitter.
Yes I am using the latest release
Any suggestions?

Do you press trainer switch before power on Devo 12?

Yes I know about the trainer switch however made no difference.
Normal power up does show the stock program.
Using the trainer switch goes into USP mode but dfuse does not recognize it.
Heh that should be USB mode.

I had the same problem when I used long USB cable. Devo 12 use USB cable for charging and if cable is too long (or used front USB port) or USB power is too weak, dfuse does not recognize Devo 12. Try to use rear USB port on desktop PC.

What version of Windows do you use?

Dfuse not always works well with Windows 7 and Windows 8.

If you have any other USB devices, try to remove them. Possible you have USB conflict.

As vlad said, you might search around for other copies of the DFuSe software. I know some folks found the 1.3 or 1.4 worked better than 1.5. One of these days I'll write my own software so we don't need to deal with this crap anymore.

Nope tried 1.4 and same problem.
I have windows 7 but prefer using windows 8 at this time.
I wonder if the battery charging process on the devo 12 is part of the problem?
I did not fully charge before starting the process.

That is what I have. Replaced all previous versions.
They are still available but don't work now.

One last question. The forum says support for the devo 12 does this include the devo 12s?
Is there any real difference?
Is there a hidden gotcha here?
As I have the 12s I wonder if I have been beating a dead horse.

Yes, the 12s is supported.

When you put your transmitter in upgrade mode, what does it display on its lcd? When you plug it in, what appears in your device manager?

Ok first: The device manager shows STM32 DFU with no firmware installed.
Windows can't find anything to install.
Walera does not list anything for the STM32
I will have to go back to the other download page and see if I can find anything.
