DEVO 10 w/ J6Pro Elev/Ail Mixed Up was created by gordonzo
I have bound a NE 328a to my Devo 10 but the ELEV and AIL channels are mixed up.

I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to sort this out using the complex mixers. Any help would be much appreciated.

Although it doesn't really make sense to me, this is what I came up with to make it work:

Model menu > Model setup > Model type: Heli > Swashtype: none

Model menu > Mixer > 1-Ail > Simple > Src: !AIL (reversed?) > Curve: 1-to-1

Model menu > Mixer > 2-Elev > Simple > Src: Elev > Curve: 1-to-1

Is somebody able to explain why this works?

Yes looks like AIL needs to be reversed. Nothing wrong with it.

Reversing a channel has everything to do with how a servo is mounted on the frame. If you would mount said servo mirrored to the current position then you would re-reverse the channel.

What you experienced is very common.

Thanks.

What threw me off was that the src channel had to be reversed.

Mixer
1.Ail Simple
!AIL

If I reversed the AIL directly it was all out of whack. I had to go into the mixer and reverse Src: !AIL

ps: Now trying to figure out how to make my throttle and expo curves to display as a graph.
