Nightlies & V944/55 was created by DarkWolf
Two questions, one thread. Go figure. :)

On the nightly builds, is there any change log or diff file for review? Just wondering. I went with a nightly build yesterday and it works like a dream. No more TX locking up, no more glitching on the v911. Love it. But do wonder what's changed build to build.

Q2 is on the V944 & V955 which are 4 channel helis. I know the V922/933 are not supported (or at least last I checked), but what about these others?

Thanks!

Oops.. Also, the V913... Is that the standard V91* protocol? Board looks like a great replacement for my MJX helies.

Going by the 6ch tx being the same as the 922 I would guess they are using the same protocol as the 922. Happy to be wrong, just a guess.
Seems strange to supply a 6ch tx with a 4ch FBL heli. Are we sure it is not a different colored 922?

If you zoom in to the v913 Rx board you can see the A7105 labelled module, so yes it is the same v91x protocol.

I noticed that as well on the V944/55 TX that it was the same 6chan TX as the V922.. Which is why I was asking. It is perplexing to ship a 4 channel with a 6 channel TX, so is it just over seas image stupidity, or is it the same TX/RX but knocked back to 4 channel?

Awesome on the v913 RX. I'll have to pick up a couple and see if they work out on the F45s.

On the 944/55 - they are HiSky rebrands, Jameschen (on RCGroups) indicates that they would all work with a HiSky Tx, same as 922.

Well that bites.. Or at least for now. Though, does the nightly not support V922 now? I don't recall seeing it, but thought for sure I saw someone mention that they got it working on a Devo.

While being no expert, I think the protocol is 'hidden' behing another layer (or chip) on the tx/rx module, making it a very different proposition to analyse and reverse engineer the protocol.

WL Toys V922/33/44/55 are rebrands of Hisky FBL 70/90/80/100, the helicopters are manufactured by Hisky and WLtoys make their TXs under Hisky license. The helicopters and protocols are indentical, they can all be flown using a hisky or WL toys compatible Tx or Hisky HT8 or WLtoys WL-T6 PPM module used with a hobby grade Futaba/Spectrum/JR/Walkera radio. So while support with an internal module is being worked out you can still control the WL Toys V922/33/44/55 and Hisky FBL 70/90/80/100 with Deviation using a WL toys or Hisky PPM module.
