  • Uninstall Defuse completely and reboot.
  • Use Device manager to view hidden USB devices and remove any drivers.
  • Install Defuse 2.31.
  • Open the Device Manager and connect your Devo. If the driver is correct it will show up as "STM Device in DFU mode" under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, and Defuse will see it.
  • If it's not right, Device Manager will see "STM32 DFU" under Universal Serial Bus Devices, but you can then right click on the device, select Update Driver Software, select Let me pick...choose Universal Serial Bus Controllers, and select STM Device in DFU mode. This should allow Defuse to see the Device.

I've done this a few times recently because I'm messing with other STM devices. YMMV.

I noticed my Devo 7e is very picky when it comes to USB cables...
Some work, some just don't.

They were in the file I down loaded from the deviation website. Then you have to unzip the files. Once you've done that you should be be able to find the file where ever it was down loaded. I'm only good enough to be dangerous with computers so it was a lot of trial and error for me, and I'm probably not the best person to be giving advise.
