Let's start at the beginning. I added an nRF24L01 chip so I could fly my eachine e010. I wired it up backwards, noticed my mistake, corrected it, and everything worked fine.

Skip forward a few months and I want more range on the dsmx chip for my custom tinywhoop. So I tried the range mod and I failed at that. Removed the entire module and set the radio aside. Ordered the WK-DEVO-S-MOD For easy upgrading. Soldered that in, you guessed it. Backwards. Turned the radio on and it wouldn't recognize the module. So I fixed my wiring, back to the correct way. Checked all my connections. It's all clean.

Problem: It won't bind to my dsmx based quad. And now the 24L01 chip won't bind to the eachine e010. I had an extra 24L01 chip in a bin so I tried soldering that one up. Radio recognizes it, but again, won't bind. Is it possible I fried the data lines on the radio board? (Meaning I'd have to chuck this entire radio in the trash)
