Devo 8S extra switch was created by Hoodooguru
I want to add a momentary button or switch to my 8S to activate pre launch mode of dlg.

I see the following in the hardware ini:

;switch_types: 3x2, 3x1, 2x2
;extra-switches=

Adding 2 switches is not a problem, so if I edit the above statement to:

;switch_types: 3x2, 3x1, 2x2
extra-switches=2x2

will I be good to go? and if so where can I find a schematic for wiring them up? Have done a search but could not find anything.

Thanks

John

I just went to my local hobby store and bought a momentary switch opened up the radio chose a 2 position switch, un-soldered the wires and soldered them to the new switch, installed the switch. works great for an arm function

Thanks

However, very aware that can be done.

I want to "add an extra" switch, not "replace an existing" switch.

Cheers

Thanks for the link Gerry, after a quick read that "might" do it. Will be fun to have a tinker with in any case.

I am good to go with arduino, have all the gear and a spare pro mini.

Cheers
