jumper t8sg plus binding dsm2/dsmx help! was created by Tommie1984
Hi everyone.

ive bought a new jumper t8sg plus v2.

I want to use it for my rc cars. Normaly is binding with a standard rc controller no problem.

But the jumper wil not bind at all. Ive tried to bind with the hobbyking orange r620x full range, and the r610 v2 short range.
These ar both dsm2/dsmx receivers.

The only config that i tried was:

model menu> model setup> load model2 (Standard config).
Loading from model 2
tx power default
ppm in> none
dsm2 >enter >orange rx> on.

And then trying to bind.

I tried first jumper on and then rx on and vice versa (with bind plug in the bind port(:).

then hit bind on the jumper. I see the bind massage of 3 seconds. After that i have to enter to get out of the bind menu.

And the rx still blinks fast.

what am I doing wrong.

Can someone help please?

Move any stick instead pressing enter. DSM bind dialog wait any stick move to send failsafe values (set at channel properties). I'm not sure if it help to bind.

This is probably the original 1st DSM mode (not dsm2 or dsmx) no telemetry , I think it was only for cars/boats and not inside Deviation.
But probably simple to add. (possibly code already somewhere on the web)

This is the receiver that i have hobbyking.com/nl_nl/orangerx-r620x-v2-6c...ant-f-safe-cppm.html . I think it is for airplanes.

hmm that Rx should bind with deviation?
make sure antenna are not to close together (or power lower)
Can also try the nr of channels?

Ive tried to play with the channels and the power. It wil not bind.

I have a setting on the transmitter under dsm2 for orange rx on/off
And also for dsmx setting.

So i think it is competible with the jumper.
