Change 3 in 1 to 4 in 1 module was created by sv650s
Hi,
I have a 3 in 1 module since many years now in my devo 12S and all works fine.
I will change this module for the 4 in 1 module, for many reasons.
Can I will keep all my models and no bind again each one on the new module ?
Or i will must bind a new time all my models on this new module ?
Thanks for your help.

No bind,as all is stored in your TX. It is the same chips, just make sure you solder the CSN lines to the same ports. (so same as in hardware.ini)

You'll have to rebind CYRF6936 protocols.

Because the internal unique ID of the CYRF6936 is used to compute the TX Id of those protocols (Devo, DSM2 ...).

No, you'll only have to rebind.

That's weird because frsky protocols use the MCU serial number, which you've not swapped I suppose
