As3x on f27 evo bnf

Hello, I’m trying to use my devo 7e with deviation 4.0.1, the first issue I had was very laggy response and after lots of forum scouring, I found setting it to 8ch fixed that, now I’m trying to get As3x to work. Is there a special way to do this with a different channel or something? Right now I have hold as my safe activator, and fmode as my dual rates. Simply put how do you get As3x to work with Devo 7e running deviation? Thanks.
