[HELP]Devo 8s Don't work with WK2401 protocol

Hi, I recently purchased a brand new Devo 8s and installed deviation 5.0.0 because I have old Wakera helicopters and I wanted to use them all with just one control. I performed the bind procedure on all of them(2403,2603 and 2801 RXs) and it seemed to work well. However with the RX2403 the throtle does not control the tail motor and it is not working. I checked on other walkera radios that I have (WK-2801 PRO and WK-2402) and the tail motor worked normally without any issue.

first I had a Devo 8s and flew all my Walkers helicopters with it until I switched to a 12s some time ago. Both TXs are and were with Deviation 5.0 (different Nightlys).
I fly the Walkera helicopters 4#3B (protocol WK2401), 4G3 (WK2601) and 4G6 (WK2801) without any problems.
Which Walkera helicopter model do you use?

Hello,I have the Creata 400(2801), #4G3(2603) and the CB-180D ((2403) this one is my problem))

When i set Full Throtle quicly, the tail motor starts to work, but a few secs later it stops and only the main motor still working, however when i gradually pull the throtle up, the tail motor don't spin even a bit. When a change from Advanced Mix Gui to Standard Mix Gui, the tail motor starts to work full-throtle even with the throtle stick at 0% until the bind process ends, after that the same problem starts again.

PS: When i turn my 8s on with Standard mix set, the tail motor starts to works at full throtle too

Ok, the 4G3 is a good start.

I programmed the 4G3 with the RX2605 using the WK2801 protocol. This is possible and works well for me.

The model.ini and the bmp-file for the 4G3 is attached, try them out. For safety reasons please remove the main rotor blades

Hello, i tried both models and nothing work as expected ... But what if I try to change the throtle mix and make it complex with 2 mixers as shown in the images below? What gonna happen?

I do not understand the sense of the complex mixer. With the switch Rudd_DR the same signal is sent from the same source to the same TX channel. What should happen by switching Rudd_DR?

Another hint: In the first video I saw that the trim for the gas channel is in the middle. Please adjust the trim to the bottom and the scale for the Thr back to 100%. Then try if the rear engine starts and stays running.

I have many Walkera heli and fly them with 8s so will look into this. First thoughts are I don't think making an advanced mix for throttle like you say will work as most if not all mixing is done in receiver.

The CB180 uses a very basic 4 channel WK2401, so that will be how you need to setup the 8s. A basic ELE AIL THR RUD channel setup. Aside from that it may just need something simple like RUD channel reversed.

The ini. in link does show a very basic setup with at first glance looks like THR cut on DR1 and THR trim down.

Hi, I tried everything previously said and nothing has changed, I used the settings posted in this topic and in the topic referred by you and my problem still the same: my tail motor dont work using my devo 8s. i'll send a video showing my default settings...

I found reference that says the 180D will fly with 2401 transmitter.

Maybe try a smaller and larger scale on RUD channel. 80 or 90 and 110 or 120.

I would think that if it binds and everything else works so should tail motor with right settings.

Just noticed the scale of your thr ch in your pics is 125, why?
