DEVO 8 Brightness, Contrast, Time

Is there a way to adjust the BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, AND TIMER on my DEVO 8 on screen.
I see that I can adjust it by going into the "tx" file, but I don't know what the max values are.
I set BRIGHTNESS=10, CONTRAST=10, AND TIMER=30000.
The defaults are set at B=5, C=5, T=20000

Can I set these parameters on screen?

Brightness and timer is set in teh transmitter config (scroll down one page).
Haven't seen Contrast yet somewhere in the gui.

What does Dimmer Target do?

When you don't make any input for the time set in "timer" the brightness will be set to this value (normally off). You get the old brightness when making inputs (inputs = touchscreen and the menu buttons, not those for controlling the heli/plane...)

It was set to off.
Sounds good it should save the battery.

The screen is readable in sunlight. I thought it would be worse.
