Blade 130x Throttle... was created by markosgt
Hi guys. I have one more question for the blade 130x.
I installed the setup i found in this foroum and i changed the throttle curve
in FMOD1 to flat 70 and in FMOD2 flat 100 in my devo8s.
The problem is that from 70 to 100 throttle the speed has no change.
I mean it maxes out at 70% throttle.
Is this ok? Am i doing something wrong?
Thank you in advance.

I have a Nano CPx and I tried anything out when I made my deviation config half a year ago. I remember that I stated that in the normal (4-channel DX4) mode the channels use only values between -60% and +60%. I believe I have seen this for throttle and rudder. The +/-100%-values were used for triggering some extra functions like throttle hold.
You can see what I have written here: Nano-CPx-config .
Today I fly only with the 6-channel-setup and I can use values in the full range. You have to bind in the 6-channel mode with rudder right to get there.

All looks fine. At stunt mode (FMode1, FMode2) the throttle have to be constant and you control heli by pitch.

Without looking into the files: all the files you can download here are tested by its creator and in many cases approved by others. But there is no guarantee that
- it will have no errors inside
- it will fit to your tx (maybe you have more or less switches than the creator's)
- it is made for your version of deviation (actually there is a broken compatibility within the toggle icons in the gui; does not affect flying)
- it will fit to your skills
So, try it out but be careful. Do what you do every time when you have built our rebuilt a heli: put off the blades and test out every function (esp. direction of servos...). And when it all works as you want/expect, mount the blades and try to fly carefully, test everything in a lesser height while hovering. And if this works too, enjoy full flying.

The heli flies very nice. i tested it. The only problem is that from around
75% to 100% throttle the headspeed stays the same.
Someone else experiences this in the 130x?

Hello Deviation-Users
this is the first time for me to write in this forum.
Reason: i have the same experience like markosgt.
Using Devo 10 withe Nightly-Build of V3 (from August).
I tried binding the 130x in several ways (Rudder right / Rudder left / DSM / DSMX) and gave different model.ini´s a try (copied from nanoCPX, new and fresh model etc.)
And i am not able to get a difference in headspeed between 75% an 100%.
It would be very kind, if any of the experts of deviation could tell me if this seems to be "normal" or what i should try next.
greetings
Kai

You should probably recalibrate the ESC...

I tried:
100% Throttle, Batterie plugin (Heli), Rudder 100% to the right for 5 seconds.
LEDs are flashing the way they have to for resetting.
But: Motor starts spinning at -75% and only spins up to +75%. From +75% to +100% theres no difference.
I hope i did what you call "recalibrate ESC" ? If not ... please be patient with me

Yes, I guess.
I don't know the exact procedure for the 130X, but used to be turning on the model with max throttle, wait some beeps, lowering the throttle to minimum and wait for some more beeps, and usually that's it...
If nothing else helps you can scale up the throttle channel to say +-125% and see if it helps...

I had a similar problem some time ago and discussed it with some fliers more experienced with Blade helis (and Spektrum tx). They told me that usually you should set up all channels with a min/max of -/+80%.
It looks as if this will also be true for the throttle channel, But I would first follow FDRs recommendation 'cause this helped me too with one bird.

I tried all of your suggestions ... but no change
But 130x flies great besides the strange throttle-readout.
Thanks anyway !
