Devo 7e and Nine Eagles J6Pro?

I noticed on the homepage that the Nine Eagles J6pro requires a telemetry supported module.

Does that mean we have to replace the module in the Devo 7e with one of the 8s module in order to be able to bind to the Nine Eagles J6 protocol?

Is this mod as simple as it sounds? Just purchase the 8s module and it's pin compatible?
