Any one have any ideas why when I connect to the Deviation web site from home that it's very slow. I have a cable modem with 8 Mb/s download speed & all other sites load very fast. Doesn't make no difference if I use Internet explorer or Firefox. Don't believe it's the Deviation site cause at work it does fine.
Edit:IPad no problems from same ISP at home, just desk top PC running XP Pro SP3, work also XP Pro SP3 no issues.

It's either a bottleneck between your PC/router and the website's host or your ISP is throttling your connection. Not much you can do about it. For me it's not timing out or too slow, but we're probably using 99% different paths.

10 years ago you could diagnose these problems with a simple traceroute, today not so much. Sigh.

Thanks, I used VisualRoute/Traceroute & all reports back great. At least I can connect & I just decided to accept/live with it. Thought maybe even my anti virus program & turned it off with same results. First connection the slowest & logging on, the rest navigating around does good sometimes.
