Devo 7e Gimbal faulty? was created by SilbernerSurfer
Hi,

at the monitor the sticks didnt go to "0"- position. The monitor shows between -9% to 4% when the sticks are centered. That is at the rudder. Trim is centered.

I have calibrated it about 5 times. I am using a Nightly build and Devo 7e.

Sometimes the rudder stays at -11% with the stick centered. Result is the v959 spins a little bit untill i move the rudder stick slightly in the other direction. Ladybird too. Ail and elev the same but only from -3 to 3.

Maybe the gimbal is faulty? Where do i get replacement parts for the Devo 7e?

Uwe

I had a similar thing happen. At the time I was changing a few things in complex mixers with a very low battery. (Batt warning had gone off once)
That's when I noticed my stick (throttle) was doing the same thing.
Rechecked settings after batt recharge and couldn't find anything wrong.
Reloaded new ini from config area, made necessary changes and problem gone.
Never again will I let my voltage drop too low.
Hope this helps!

I can try it, but i have changed the gimbals from one Tx to another Tx and the problem follows the gimbal. I think the potentiometer is faulty. I will see it when the spare parts are arrived.

Oh, yes, very likely is pot. I have cleaned pots with a good contact cleaner, may just be dust.
But..... To be on safe side, does anyone know of good replacement?
Cheers,
Rod

I did not found replacement parts anywhere. I made a deal with my seller. He send me a faulty Devo 7e which he gets back from another customer, and i can use the spare parts.

Saves money for him. He dont need to pay an employee for this.
