Hi all,
I have a problem with 4.0.1 and Devo 7E with the Blade Nano CPX.
All servos are working correctly according to the stick movements, but when I throttle up, the swashplate starts moving slowly to the right/forward, so the heli is not controllable.
To verify that the heli is ok, I bound it to my Spektrum DX8 radio --> heli flies totally fine.
Can someone help me with the problem? When using the Mini CP with the 7e everything is fine.

I don't see any gyro sensitivity settings in your config. Doesn't it needed?
Also the rudder channel (ch4) has unneeded mixers as it was an expo&dr template while it is just a simple one...

thanks for the quick reply. The Nano CPX does not need gyro set.
I tried several configs, but every config had the problem I described.
Could it be the general Helicopter template? It says:
Swashtype: None --> is this ok?
ELE,AIL, COL Inv: Normal
ELE,AIL, COL Mix: 60 --> What does 60 mean?
Even after changing the Mix values to 0 and the swashtype to 90 the problem is still there. Changing from DSMX to DSM2 also did not help

Hi Alexander, as a test try my Blade 130 X - Standard Settings model. The settings are the same as the NanoCPX except the throttle curve for normal modes. Let me know if this model works for you. If it does I know there is something not correct with the NanoCPX model and will try to figure it out.
These are Walkera firmware values. I converted them for the deviation values.
when I made the models.
NanoCPX - Normal throttle curve - 0% 40% 60% 80% 100%
Blade 130 X - Normal throttle curve - 0% 40% 60% 68% 75%

Swashtype: None is what you want for FBL.
I think None = 1 SERVO NORM

thanks, I tried your 130X config. But the problem with the swashplate is still there. As I throttle up, the left servo moves slowly up and the right servo moves slowly down. When throttle is off, the servos return to the correct positions immediately.

Your welcome.
So the model works in your Devo 8s with v4.0.1 but it doesn't work with your Devo 7e?
Someone flew the model with their Devo 7e v4 and it worked fine.

Here is a model I made in the Devo 10 V4 emulator for the NanoCPX - Standard Settings. It should work in the 7e also if you want to try it.
It is not posted on the site as I made an all in one model instead.

Yes, with my Devo 8s v.4.0.1 the Nano CPX works fine. Then I took the Devo 8s Nano CPX config and copied it to my Devo 7e with the described problem. After that I tried some other configs from the forum including yours with the same result 
You know what I did.. I took your 130X config and tried it with the Devo7e and my 130X (I have a lot of helis). Guess what... the exact same problem as with the Nano CPX! Very strange.

thanks for your effort. I tried the model76.ini with the same problem
Well, I think I will flash my Devo 7e again tomorrow.. maybe the problem will go away. I'll let you know.

I made a master model for the Blade helicopters which all I have to do is change pitch curves, throttle curves, and DR/Expo for most models.
Some of them I use DR/Expo on the rudder and others I don't.

you can try my config. I just have flown my Nano with this (for the first time with Devo7e) and it works - is surely not perfect and you have to adapt it to your needs.
But I have not seen any servo creeping with this config.
I would expect that you have an issue with the AS3X stabilizer. If it recognizes a movement of the heli it will try to correct this. So maybe for some reason the unit has wrong inputs or reactions. Can also be a result of improper initialization. Plug the battery in and place the heli on a stable flat surface until binding is complete and the blue light is solid.
The other issue I could imagine is a defective servo. If you dismount it you can screw the motor unit off the board. There are two lines where a slider is moved up and down on the board. Maybe you should clean them (with gasoline used for cleaning purposes). But mostly the servo jitters only if there is some dirt inside.

Are you sure that you bound to NanoCPX as Computer Radio? With rudder to the right.

Hi Guys,
first of all thanks for your help. I finally figured out the problem!!
The problem was with the trims. When I checked the servo monitor with all sticks in neutral position, the servo monitor showed a rudder value of 12 and an aileron value of 5. Then I set the subtrims of the aileron and rudder channels so that both values are 0 in neutral stick position. Problem solved
I remembered having the same problem with the Devo8s.. with 4.0.1 some subtrim must be applied to get a correct value of 0 in the servo monitor.
Someone had the same problem?

When I put the model.ini of your first posting into the 7e-emulator I cannot see any applied subtrims or trims.
Have you calibrated the sticks after installation of the firmware or do you use an old or different tx.ini?
