how do i connect TAROT ZYX S2 to DSM2 Sat.

Hi there, I have just bought a Devo 10 and uploaded Deviation. I want to run my Gaui 200 FES with the Tarot ZYX S2 FBL unit. I thought I just needed a DSM2 sat but the sat has a different connector to any on the Tarot ZYX. Reading through some old posts, I think it looks like I need another adapter cable or must bind to a spektrum RX first. i was worried I may have bought the wrong gear and should have gone the AR7200BX route for simplicity.

If someone has some experience with these units and setting them up then I would appreciate some help.

You also need this, as the sat runs on 3.3V, while the device gives out 5V.

However, you'll need to bind the satellite to a normal Spektrum receiver first. If you have an arduino sitting around, you can instead use that to bind it.

That code will allow you to hook up the satellite to the arduino to bind.

thankyou mate.exactly what I was suspecting. How many channels do I need on the Spektrum RX or does it not matter for that initial bind.

I had trouble when I bound a sat with 6 channels and later set my TX to 8 channels.. so preferably, it should match the amount of channels you actually want to use.
