Hi.
Buddy Boxing is the trainer thing ?
I don't know if it works with DeviationTX, but it works with 9X.
Simply link a receiver with PPM output to the right pin of the radio trainer port (and ground of course), bind the slave radio to the receiver, and it works (for exemple the new OrangeRX DSMX, or a LemonRX, or an old RX with a PPM SUM module)
Before do that, be sure PPM in of the radio is 5V, or you will need a voltage divider. And find a 5V line in the radio to supply power to the receiver.
I do that with my 9X with an old receiver and an arduino.
But i have to warn you, i don't know if the receiver, close to your radio, will limit the range of your model
Regards,
camousse

I have one on order, I'll post my experience once I have tried it.

If I understand the Spektrum documentation, wireless buddy boxing is a function of the master. IF you have a spektrum Tx that supports it, that Tx can be a wireless master and the 12S (or 7E, or ...) can be the slave. You can't go the other way around, though.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
